The WEAS is a wireless, electronic training device that enables safe and effective training in situations where simulations involving bombs or other explosives are used. The only wireless training system of its kind, the WEAS assists those engaged in training against attacks, to safely test reactions to simulated explosions without the inconvenience and hazard of wires or cords.
To activate a simulated explosion, the operator enters a specific code into the remote control, which operates on a unique band frequency, so there is no risk of explosives igniting accidentally.
Approved and currently in use by the Israeli Special Forces, the WEAS can be applied to any terrain, and causes no damage to the environment. Designed for use with standard training explosive devices, no licensing for use is required.
