Romtes Technologies Ltd. is a technology company whose focus is to improve the effectiveness of security training systems for Civil Defense and Special Forces, security teams, the military and others engaged in the use of firearms for security.
Founded in 1991 , Romtes was launched while involved in the development phase of its primary product - The Short Circuit Target (SCT) designed for shooting ranges. Based on a concept that dates from the late 1800's, We developed a revolutionary target that is capable of detecting and counting each "hit" with great accuracy. This technology was quickly patented in several countries around the globe.
Throughout the years, technology has improved the detection rate to near 100% ,More patents are registerd and targets have been redesigned to meet the specific standards of the Israeli Special Forces and other key clients. Based on their desire to make possible the upgrade from existing systems to their Short Circuit Targets (SCT), We developed a special "arm" that not only holds the SCT firmly in place, it also adapts existing systems to the new technology. This arm (called the ARM-102) is Patented in many countries worldwide.
